Newly out today, the Canadian National Team Allocation Players in the NWSL. The Washington Spirit retain Diana Matheson and add Shelina Zadorsky and Stephanie Labbé.

Stephanie comes over as part of the trade that sent Amanda Da Costa and a natural 4th round pick in next years College Draft to the Chicago Red Stars. She played college ball at University of Connecticut and then started professionally at Pitea IF and then onto KIF Orebro. She is 29 and will help give competition at the goalie position and provide stability and experience in the box. She would also help fill the void that Ashlyn Harris has left in going home to play in Orlando.

Shelina is a newly allocated player for this season. She is a defender and played collegiality at University of Michigan and then went on to play at Perth Glory and  Vittsjo GIK. She is only 23, so she provides a mix of youth and a bit of experience at the back.

If you want a more personal touch, follow the new players on social media; Shelina @shelina6 on twitter and @shelinaz on instagram; Stephanie @stephlabb1 on twitter and instagram.
